Find tips for creating a positive wake-up routine to help make it easier to get out of bed and start your day.

Just like having a bedtime plan is helpful, so is having a positive wake-up plan. Having a routine that you look forward to in the morning can help you get out of bed quickly and start your day.

  • Set your alarm clock to your preferred setting (e.g., music, buzzer).
  • Turn on the lights and/or open your curtains to let in as much light as possible.
