Read about fears, feelings and coping advice from other teens.</p><p>Having surgery is very stressful and emotional. Before surgery, you might feel angry, depressed, hyper, or in denial. While in the hospital, you might feel scared, disoriented, confused, grouchy, or embarrassed about your personal hygiene. When you are back at home, you may feel scared to leave the hospital.
