Stress is a normal part of life and happens to everyone. We often only think of stress as bad, but actually, in small doses, stress can be a good thing.
Good stress can give you the push you need and help you stay focused and alert! It keeps you on your toes during school performances and drives you to study when you would prefer to hang out with friends. It even helps you get up in the morning for school or pack in time for an upcoming trip.
On the other hand, bad stress happens when you feel that life is too much to cope with. Sometimes, for example, the pressure of being a teenager with a transplant can be hard to handle. You might be left feeling overwhelmed or unsure of how to meet the demands placed on you.
